This strengthens both tradition and fresh impetus. With a clear view to the future, we are continuing our proven values and driving innovation forward.

2025 at Weil Technology – A selection of our highlights

Management in the second generation  

At the start of the new financial year on 1 May 2025, Wolfgang Weil handed over the role of CEO entirely to his son Florian Weil. Wolfgang Weil continues to contribute his experience to the company in an advisory capacity as Chairman of the Advisory Board and shareholder. At the same time, our CFO Alexander Heissler took his well-deserved retirement and we welcomed Patrick Rösch as our new CFO.
We now consider ourselves well positioned to implement proven strategies paired with clear visions for successful business management.

However, our entire team is also a guarantee of our success. The collegial atmosphere within the company is a remarkable asset that we greatly appreciate.

Laser welding of battery cooler plates

Thermal management is an important component in the performance of battery systems. It must meet the highest standards. Our Laser Welding Cell efficiently and fully automatically manufactures cooler plates from stainless steel or aluminium with consistent welding results and uniform welding depths at welding speeds of up to 15 m/min. 

Economical production of prismatic cell housings 

The latest generations of prismatic cell housings are usually manufactured using continuous profiling or cyclical forming processes. With our new innovative manufacturing process, we have developed a system that enables the production of stainless steel cell housings with a wall thickness of only 0.15 mm.

Fully automated production line for hot water tanks

The manufacture of modern hot water tanks requires maximum flexibility. Our fully automated production line with shell production and circular seam welding station for top and bottom enables this with minimal personnel requirements – for hot water tanks made of black plate and stainless steel, even with heat exchanger.

Plant technology for your tube production – completely from one single source

By combining the systems from Weil Technology and our subsidiary Novatec, we offer turnkey solutions from a single source: from laser welding and cutting to final tube forming. To this end, we combine all the necessary work steps in our systems on request – from sheet metal forming to joining and cutting by laser to tube end processing and marking.

This year, we are once again foregoing Christmas gifts and instead supporting social and charitable projects in the region.Our christmas donation for 2025 will go locally to protestant youth welfare „Kirschbäumleboden“ Müllheim, Kinderhilfe Markgräflerland e.V., Vinzentius-Verein – Förderverein für caritative Aufgaben e.V. and Stadtmusik Müllheim e.V.
