Solutions & Services
Our manufacturing solutions are deployed wherever change takes place and tomorrow’s products are created.
Our solutions in overview
Technology
We ensure optimum processes thanks to our modular process modules, covering a wide range of sheet metal processing steps. To ensure that you get the very best solution available, we also enhance our portfolio with modular machines from strong partners such as NOVATEC. Our engineers also draw on proven technology from established suppliers, such as robot technology from KUKA or laser technology from Trumpf and IPG. The following technologies can be integrated into our systems:
Separating: Laser cutting, punching
Joining: Laser welding, TIG welding, plasma welding and laser hybrid welding
Forming: 2-roller rounding, multi-roller rounding, conical rounding, U/O forming
Postprocessing: Seam smoothing, seam annealing, expanding, tube end machining, marking, leak test
Component supply and assembly, material flow concepts, parts handling
Automatic clamping concepts
Uncoiling, straightening, stacking of blanks (separation), feeding, edge forming, round rolling, inserting, clamping
Automation
Our automated and interlinked machines open up entirely new opportunities. Which is why we offer them not only as stand-alone machines, but also implement individually automated turn-key solutions based on your specific needs. The degree of automation is scalable. Our range of services in the field of automation:
Automation of interlinked systems with goods carrier systems
Part handling and automated loading and unloading using industrial robots
Integration of bin-picking systems
Integration of test stations and marking stations within the overall process
Transfer handling via linear portals
Quality monitoring systems (pre, in and post process monitoring)
Automation of existing systems
Feasibility studies and prototyping
Our customers are frequently in need of solutions that deviate from the standard. Our TechCenter welcomes such challenges and looks for ways to meet individual requirements. In addition to our seasoned engineers, we have a laboratory and external partners at our disposal to perform special tasks. Our Development and Innovation unit offers:
Consulting services regarding the design of weldable components
Process consulting and examinations of process stability
Development of laser-compatible clamping technology
Welding tests
Validation of components such as vision systems and sensor technology
Custom developments
One of our strengths is our capacity to respond to the at times special challenges of our customers with custom solutions. For this purpose, we turn proven standard modules into customized systems. Many of our customers have benefited from this approach to find effective and cost-effective solutions.
For inquiries that depart significantly from the standard, we also offer tailor-made module development. We very much welcome your specific challenges and would be happy to provide you with viable concepts. These have often proven to create significant advantages for our customers over their competitors. In cases such as these, it is also crucial to optimally coordinate interfaces in order to ensure stable processes. Here are some examples of specific adaptations that we have already implemented for our customers:
Working from coil to increase the potential batch size
Destacking from sheet metal for more flexibility in term of blank sizes, quantities and quality
Sheet edge forming to avoid flat zones in multi-roller bending
Continuous welding systems to achieve a high degree of automation
Portal solutions for optimal analysis and control of production processes
Robot technology for clean processes and higher reproducibility (pick-and-place)
Integration of downstream processes (e.g. annealing or smoothing)
